Stormproof mock sliding sash windows by Ron Currie

The window pictured below is an example of a softwood stormproof sliding sash window. The difference between a real sliding sash window and a mock sliding sash window is that the later is basically a top hung hinged casement window as apposed to sliding. Please view window options.

These windows have a stormproof casement with extended horns to give them a sliding sash appearance. They are a lot cheaper than using real sliding sash windows. In the table below, there is a list of prices for each pattern of mock sliding sash window in various timbers. If you cannot see the pattern you require, please email/fax us the pattern you are interested in and we will give you a quote. See bottom of page for glass information.

We supply glass as an optional extra. In the glass column contained in the table above we have priced for clear low E 24mm double glazed units. The glass is supplied loose for you to install on site. Provided the glass and window are installed correctly the window will meet current building regulations. If you require the double sided glazing tape, we supply this at £10 per 50m roll. We can also supply single glazing, obscure glazing and toughened glazing. Please email for prices. If the pane of glass is less than 800mm off the floor, it will need to be toughened.
