All decking components are pressure treated and are stock items. All sizes and prices are subject to availability. When working out what you need we recommend using 3mm gap between boards so each board covers 150mm. eg. To board a 3m stretch the number of boards needed would be 3000/150 = 20 no. When working out the framework we usually recommend a joist spacing of 450mm eg. For an area of 3.6m x 3.6m the number of joists needed will be 3600 / 450 = 8 plus an extra 1 for the end and 2 lengths for the sides which makes a total of 11. Please note : This is a rule of thumb. With the decking boards you will need to take into account that if they are wet when you receive them, they will shrink when fitted if they are dry they will expand, so the gap may need to vary. It is impossible to say whether they will expand or contract when they are fitted.
